If you’re looking for a beautiful, central, and historic location for your engagement photos, you’ve come to the right place! Presidio Park was the perfect backdrop and blend of architecture and nature for Ashley and Micah’s Engagement Session. The park features the iconic Sierra Museum, a scenic Arbor, 40 acres of green open spaces, expansive views of the Old Town San Diego area, and more.
We started at the museum and moved around the building to utilize all of its architectural beauty. Ashley and Micah were so effortless in front of the camera and looked like they belonged in every spot I put them in! We then made our way to the Arbor which is seriously so cute and charming with its garden-like environment. The setting sun was shining through the hanging trees and the Corinthian columns were stunning against the surrounding greenery. The Arbor would truly be a stunning location for a intimate wedding or elopement as well! And again, these two obviously fit in perfectly, with their sweet cuddles and embraces.
My favorite thing about Presidio Park is how generally versatile it is! On our way down the hill from the Arbor, we came across a huge patch of really unique looking cacti. It served as a really flattering backdrop against Ashley and Micah’s red clothing, especially with a golden glow behind the cacti!
We wrapped up their engagement session with some quiet moments overlooking Old Town as the sun dipped below the horizon. Ashley and Micah were so fun and easy to work with, and Presidio Park provided so much variety to keep things interesting!
