This Torrey Pines Proposal was so fun because it was one-part gorgeous styled session and one-part epic proposal. It pays off having modeling experience and connections within the wedding industry – especially when planning a marriage proposal to the love of your life! Areg reached out to friend and kick-a$$ Creative Stylist, Angel Tan, to plan and style this awesome surprise. Everything was so perfectly and thoughtfully planned to include many of Kristina’s favorites: from the Paris theme, to the beautifully unique engagement ring, and even her favorite flavored cake! I might have had too much fun photographing all those amazing details… Just a little bit!

The cover story was that Angel was hosting a styled photo shoot for a few photographers and needed a model. Kristina had modeled plenty of times for sessions like these so she had absolutely no idea what was coming. After a few poses for us, Areg surprised everyone in attendance when he dropped on one knee earlier than planned! But it couldn’t have been more perfect since Kristina was aaaaall smiles for the rest of the evening.

I am beyond grateful all the time for the opportunity to capture moments like these! Witnessing such happiness is so rewarding and I get caught up in all the emotions every time. And it certainly helps when it ends with chocolates and cake!!
